Day 3
Our bikes came today! They really make the trip from Utrecht easier.
We got the carpet in the entry hall pulled up today,
and also took the carpet off the stairs.
We finished taking the brick off the wall,
then pulled up the carpet in the living room.
It's a clean shot to the back yard now from the front window,
and it's time to empty the dumpster...

Looking good! Congratulations on moving in. You guys look SO BUTCH doing all the repair work. Hope you're taking video so you can send it to one of the Home Design networks and pitch it as a reality show. Can't wait to see the finished product.
Hope you're able to hang onto those bikes. The Netherlands is famous for bike thievery. It is said that, after yours has been stolen about 5 times, you will take to stealing them too ... haha... we'll see ;-)
